The 28 day peace of mind guarantee

In addition to your statutory rights as a consumer, A world of furniture also offers a free, 28 day peace of mind guarantee. Let us know within 28 days from the date of delivery if you are not totally satisfied with your purchase and we will collect it with no questions asked.

In return we will issue a credit note for the furniture, less our costs for collecting* and returning it to Salisbury. Please note, we can only extend this offer to our self-assembly furniture if it has not been assembled and is still in its original packaging. 

This offer only applies to goods that are undamaged and in re-saleable condition, as checked when delivered to the customer. 

*Collection may be charged at the full cost rather than the subsidised rates charged for delivery.

Eco Policy

 As of March 2010 A world of furniture has now planted over 30,000 trees in local woodlands and plantations. Our Eco unique schemes have now made us officially the regions most prominent Environmentally freindly furniture retailer, for which we were recognised at the South Wiltshire Business Awards 2008 where we were presented with the Environmental Business of the Year, which is nice!

We do not just limit ourselves to planting trees though, in our stand to help protect our environment we also:

• Recycle over 22 tonnes of Cardboard a year
• Help with Local Bee rearing and Conservation projects
• Monitor Electricity useage throughout all our sites/warehouses and shops....
• Efficiently control our fleet of Delivery vehicles with Eco GPS systems...
• Have started an Educational Programme with some local schools whereby we are reconnecting Children with their environment and nature through Bushcraft.
• All of the furniture we sell is sourced from sustainable timber plantations.
